Rick's Comments: Although Nightmare At 20,000 Feet is a Twilight Zone episode I’ve painted it in the style used for Rod Serling’s later show, Night Gallery. This series featured a collection of abstract horror paintings (mostly by Tom Wright) that made a big impact on me as kid but by the time I got around to doing my own horror illustrations (40 years later!) photo realism was in vogue and commercial artists were all busily tracing away like loonies.
